First Response
The Emergency First Response program
gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First
Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency
First Response prepares you to properly handle potentially
life-threatening situations.
This comprehensive program is composed of two core
modules: Emergency First Response - Primary Care, and
Emergency First Response - Secondary Care. These modules
provide extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid.
The Emergency First Response program is a prerequisite
to the PADI Rescue Diver Course.
Rescue
Diver
Meeting
the Rescue Diver requirement for first aid and CPR training;
moving into the Rescue Diver program will develop the
necessary knowledge and skills for individuals to effectively
perform diver rescues and assists, manage diving accident
situations, and render proper first aid. This important
and crucial step in expanding a diver's knowledge and
experience beyond a purely recreational level will help
you affirm your own skill level and instill tremendous
confidence in yourself as a diver.

- 1 academic session for your EFR program
- 1 academic session & 1 pool session for your Rescue
Diver program
- Sea dives to complete the Rescue Diver program
Opportunities
The PADI EFR & Rescue Diver rating is a prerequisite
for all leadership training - PADI Divemaster, PADI
Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
