The Open Water Diver course is where everyone begins
their dive education. The fun of diving starts as soon
as you enrol the Open Water Diver course, which teaches
the basics of enjoyable, safe diving through scuba skills
development and academic discussion sessions, plus exciting
dives at popular dive sites under the guidance of your
PADI Instructor.
Course
Overview
The program comprise 3 sections that develop
you into a competent diver, while enjoying the whole
experience safely:
- 5 modules of scuba skills development at the swimming
pool
- 5 modules of academic sessions to develop your knowledge
in diving
- 4 open sea dives over the weekend
For the fun part of the program, your Open Water
Dives, allow you to complete them while on a weekend
vacation to Dayang
Island
West Malaysia Program:
- Departs Friday night at 19.00 hrs
- Returns Sunday night approx. 22.00 hrs
Certification
The PADI system of education is performance-based,
meaning you can never really fail, although it may take
you a while to reach the objective.
On successful completion of the course, you will be
awarded the PADI Open Water Diver certification card,
an internationally recognized recreational diving license.
Earning the PADI Open Water Diver certification enables
you to buy or rent scuba equipment and dive without
direct instructor supervision worldwide. This license
is valid for a lifetime.
